If a candidate home account email has typo or is no longer accessible it can be updated using the Update External Account Profile task in Workday.  This task can be completed by Recruiting Admin users and Solution Center users.


If the password is the problem confirm the email and ask the candidate to use the Forgot Password link.  We cannot see or change the candidate's password on their behalf.  We can trigger the password reset email for them if necessary via the Manage External Accounts task. But since the email is only valid for a specific amount if time, it is best if they do it themselves when they are able to complete the process.
